
If you’ve been holding out for the right moment to book your spring travel (or you’re looking for any excuse to book, because same), the following destinations might be worth considering.
New data from Dollar Flight Club has shown that airfare to several major destinations has dropped dramatically compared to the same time last year, including nearby beach hot spots and European cities.
Here are the top places where travelers are seeing the biggest savings right now:
Cancún, Mexico

gettyThe analysis found that Cancún is seeing a major price cut this year with airfare to the beach-lover’s favorite down more than 35% year-over-year. The average price of roundtrip tickets fell to around $250 compared to $389 last spring.
Marrakech, Morocco

gettyMarrakech is a bucket-list destination for many and now might be the time to hop on that flight. The analysis found that flights to Marrakech are down 31% compared to last year. This drop allows travelers to enjoy a more budget-friendly and accessible trip to a further flung destination.
Bogotá, Colombia

gettyNext on the list is Bogotá, Colombia. The South American city has dropped 27% year over year with airfare to the city sitting at around $233 (down from $319). Bogotá is considered a gateway to the rest of Colombia and is a great starting point for further travels throughout South America as well.
Milan, Italy

gettyDreaming of an Italian getaway? Now might be your chance. Dollar Flight Club shows that flights to Milan are down 23% compared to last year with the average fare sitting around $323 as opposed to $418 last year.
Mexico City, Mexico

gettyMexico City rounds out the top five. Flights to the capital of Mexico are down 22% year over year with average ticket prices sitting at about $270 as opposed to $348. Mexico City is already a major destination but this fall in flight price gives travelers one more reason to head south.
